On September 21, 2019 it was announced that Owen Maier, nominated by Coach Mary Sarah Konopka, was the recipient of the 2019-2020 John Izzard Athleticism, Service, and Achievement Award. The announcement was made during the Undine Barge Club Captain's [Tim O'Grady] Dinner at Castle Ringstetten. Below are more photographs from that evening. Owen will receive his personal trophy at the Schuylkill Navy Annual Awards Banquet in 2020 and a 2020 summer rowing program invitation. ​
