On September 18, 2025, it was announced that Athlete Danah Penafiel, nominated by Coach Helena Dropic [Belleville High School in New Jersey], was the recipient of the 2025-2026 John & Parthenia Izzard Athleticism, Service, and Achievement Award. The announcement was made during the Undine Barge Club Captain's [Christopher McElroy's] Dinner at Undine Barge Club's Castle Ringstetten. Below are more photographs from that evening, with more to come. Danah was shown her personal trophy but will receive it at the Schuylkill Navy Annual Awards Banquet, if they have it, in 2026 and a 2026 summer rowing program invitation.
